Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the free plan?
The free plan gives you unlimited typed practice — timed or untimed — across all nine CASPer aspects, plus five free typed response feedback sessions. Each session includes a quartile score, a score prediction, evaluator feedback on each response, and targeted coaching prompts. After your five sessions are used, you can continue practising but won't receive feedback unless you upgrade.
What's included in premium feedback?
Every premium session includes: evaluator feedback on each typed or video response, a quartile score showing where you rank against other students, a score prediction moment to test your self-awareness, and targeted coaching prompts to push your response further. For typed practice, you get feedback on both responses in the session. For video practice, you record a spoken response under real test conditions and receive the same evaluator-quality feedback. All feedback is built from thousands of hours of actual CASPer scoring experience — not generic advice.
What is video response practice?
Video practice closely models the real CASPer test format. You get 60 seconds to read and reflect on the scenario, then 60 seconds to record your spoken response on camera — one attempt only. Your response is then analysed using the same evaluator criteria as typed practice, with feedback and a quartile score shown on screen. Video practice is included in both paid plans.
What's the difference between 30 Days and 1 Year?
Both plans include exactly the same features — unlimited typed and video practice, evaluator feedback, quartile scoring, coaching prompts, and the CASPer Test Preparation Guide. The only difference is duration: 30 Days gives you 30 days for $49 USD, 1 Year gives you 12 months for $149 USD. If your test is coming up soon, 30 Days is plenty. If you're preparing across multiple cycles or want long-term access, 1 Year is better value.
How is this different from other CASPer prep?
Most CASPer prep resources are built from publicly available information — there's no shortage of general advice about situational judgment tests online. What's rare is someone who has actually sat on the other side and scored thousands of real responses. Response Method is built entirely from that experience. The feedback isn't based on what sounds reasonable — it's based on what evaluators actually look for, and what consistently separates high-scoring responses from average ones.
Is Response Method affiliated with Acuity Insights?
No. Response Method is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Acuity Insights, the company that administers the CASPer test. CASPer® is a registered trademark of Acuity Insights.
How are quartile scores calculated?
Your quartile score is calculated by comparing your response scores against other students who have practised on Response Method. It gives you a useful benchmark for tracking your improvement over time. It is not a prediction of your official CASPer quartile — official quartiles are determined on test day relative to every other applicant sitting the test, and no independent platform can know that in advance. What our scoring gives you is a meaningful indicator built from real evaluator experience.
