CASPer is not a test of knowledge. It is a test of how you think — how you consider multiple perspectives, weigh competing priorities, and communicate your reasoning under pressure. Most students prepare by memorising topics or practising generic answers. That rarely works.

What happens when you practice

Read and reflect

You are given a realistic scenario — either word-based or dialogue format, similar to what you will face on test day. You have 60 seconds to read and think before the questions appear.

Answer under timed conditions (Typed practice)

Two typed questions, 3 minutes 30 seconds total — the same format as the typed CASPer. Untimed mode is also available if you are still building confidence with the framework.

Practice video responses (CASPer video)

You can also practice video responses — recording spoken answers directly in the browser, just as you would in the real video CASPer format. Your response is transcribed and assessed using the same framework.

Receive structured feedback

Your responses are assessed against the Response Method framework. Feedback shows you exactly where your reasoning is strong and where it can develop.
