Foundations
Know the test format — 2 sections: 4 video scenarios (1 minute per response) and 7 typed scenarios (3.5 minutes for both questions). 11 scenarios total, 2 questions each.
Response Builder — question type quiz — open
Response Builder and work through the question type quiz first. Do this before anything else.
Framework Guide — the framework — read the
Framework Guide. Then re-read it after your first few sessions — it lands differently once you've practiced.
Framework Guide — nine aspects — read the
nine aspects section. Come back to this after a few sessions — you'll read it differently once you've practiced.
Framework Guide — response formulas Optional — read the
response formulas section. More useful if you want a more structured approach to building your responses.
Response Builder — build a response with Eva — now that you've read the framework, work through a full response with Eva to see it in action.

Systems check — at least 3 days before your test — complete the
Acuity system requirements check using the same setup you'll use on test day. Check your webcam, microphone, keyboard, browser, and internet connection. Wired inputs are more reliable than wireless — if you use AirPods or Bluetooth headphones, disconnect all other Bluetooth devices. Restart your computer on test day to close background programs.

Practice
Start with untimed typed sessions. Get comfortable with the framework before you add the clock.
Move to timed typed sessions. Aim for around 1 minute 45 seconds per question — if you run out of time on the first question, move to the next and go back if you have time.
Do video practice sessions. It doesn't matter if you stutter, pause, or look nervous — evaluators are assessing what you say, not how polished you look.
Check your pattern feedback in
My Progress. This appears after 4 completed sessions (8 responses). When it does, ask yourself: am I actually applying this in my practice?
Question Types — tick off each one as you practice it
Nine Aspects — tick off each one as you practice it

Check
My Progress regularly. Which aspects and question types are you stronger on? Seek out the ones you've been avoiding.
Do a final check of your Progress dashboard before you practice today. Any aspects or question types still uncovered? Target those specifically.

Do typed and video sessions targeting your remaining gaps. This is your last proper practice day.
Sit the full practice test today under real conditions — no pausing, no looking things up. It's the best way to see where you stand before test day.
Read your feedback. Note anything worth keeping front of mind — but don't drill. You're done practicing.
Your prep is done. Today is not a practice day.
Tests usually run in the evening — you have most of the day. Go for a walk, watch something, do whatever helps you feel like yourself. Don't spend it cramming.
When you sit down: read each question twice, use every second of your reading and reflection time, and remember you can jot notes during that window. You've done the work. Trust it. Good luck!
